First of all, if you are considering buying this but have sticker shock, simply watch for the price to drop. Amazon's 30 day price tracker has it dropping to a low of around $200 to a high of almost $900. That being said, it is a very useful product to have in your car. I haven't had the need to use it as a jump starter yet, but the other features work great. It comes with an aur hose and various tips to inflate not only tires, but sports balls and pool toys as well. That feature works great and is very easy to use. Saves you from having to find a gas station with an air pump when you need to top off your tire pressure. The really cool feature is the USB port that allows you to charge your phone or other electronic devices. It came in handy when the power went out and my phone needed charged. So, depending on the price that you are able to get it for, I think it is a must have item to keep in your car. Read more

This jump starter is a great tool to have on hand in my truck! Not only does it help start up the truck in a jam, but it also includes an air compressor if your tires need to be inflated. This took has been very useful, I've actually had to use it twice now and it worked perfectly. Its easy to use, instructions are clear, and it gets the job done pretty fast. Its compact and easy to store in the truck, and light enough to carry. Its a well built unit with all the safety features and the battery life lasts a good amount of time before having to recharge. Now the price is a bit much, it was way higher when I got it around $900, and now I see it's only $200 so not sure what happened there. Jump starting cars was such a pain for most of my life that when I discovered units like this where you don't have to either have cables or find someone who does, then find someone who will take the time to drive over to jump your car. Over the years I've slowly upgraded the units we have. I was more than happy with a 1250A jumper we got, then SUPER happy about a 2500A one after that, then I came across this... 6000A?! My wife asked why we needed it, and I teased that in case the neighborhood had an outage we could power it up for a while =) We also had a car with old rims where the chrome had worn down enough for one to have a super slow leak, so I know the benefit of having a compressor on hand as well. Here are both in one unit. I was surprised when this arrived because it's smaller than our 2500A starter that doesn't have a compressor in it! It also comes in a hard case, which the last three we got did not. Something like this, you want to be able to protect it. This is a nice case that holds everything securely. It does feel odd that the handle is on the side though. You put everything in, then when you pick up the case, everything inside is sideways. Not a big deal, just feels weird to my soul. Both the compressor and the starter are much more powerful than the other options I currently own. Everything is quality materials and craftsmanship, from the case on up. The lights cycle between steady, flashing "SOS" in Morse code, steady flashing, and a flashing red warning light. Nice. The jumper cables are "smart," in that they have 10 safety features. I'll include a picture of them. It's a good, powerful unit. There is even a "force jump" feature where you push a button (I can't imagine it being able to be pushed accidentally) and it overrides all the safety features - to be used in rare situations. Oh, and the 24,000mAh (!!!) battery can also be used to charge your phone and other things via one of the two USB Out ports - it would be nice if one of them were USB-C though. I recently needed to charge my phone and somehow only has a cord with USB-C on both ends. That being said, "for the price"... I have doubts about how durable the plastic handle is. The instructions say press the Power button to turn the unit on and off, but mine doesn't turn the unit off - I have to wait 30 seconds for it to go into Sleep mode. It may just be a glitch on mine, but there is no other way to turn it off. The charging cord is a simple USB cord (A on one end, C on the other), and it's not even a long or ruggedized one. It doesn't come with a wall plug; most things don't nowadays, but it makes sense to have one in the case. And you can charge it with the outlet in your car, but it doesn't come with that cord either. I hate to keep saying "for the price," but I have kits that were less than 1/10 the price if this one and they came with a plug for your car.
