Most jump packs have a useless light. This one is very bright! I haven’t tested the jump component yet but it seems functional. Update- I had to use the jump pack recently and it started my 3.3l v6 no problem a couple times at that. So it works as expected. I even considered buying another but the price jumped considerably. I got this for my wife, in her car. She carried jumper cables, but I felt better having a jump start capability without having to ask a stranger. There are a lot of doo-dads on this I don't care about like a separate seat belt cutter, a thermometer,and a compass. I suppose the flashlight and reading light could be handy, but all I really care is if it will start the car. I could have crossed my fingers and assumed it would work when the time came, but I wanted to test it. I had an old, rundown battery sitting around, so I put it into the car and the car would not start. Hooked up this baby and it started just fine, so it works. Whether it will crank a car 20 times as claimed, i can't vouch for it. Frankly, if it does not start on the first try or two, you better call for help anyway. Read more
