I bought this after seeing Jai Marii recommend it in a braiding video, and it’s been such a great purchase. The tri-sided design makes it easy to see the back and sides of my head, so parting and styling my hair is no longer a struggle. I was able to get a perfect part on the first try. The size and thickness are just right, not too bulky but sturdy enough to stay in place. I keep it on the back of my bathroom door, and I can still close the door with no problem. One of my favorite features is that it’s adjustable. The hooks on the back (shaped like the letter “L”) let me set the mirror higher or lower, which is perfect since I’m on the shorter side. It makes it super easy to find the right height for styling. Overall, it’s functional, durable, and really simplifies doing my own hair. As someone who has been braiding their hair since my fingers could reach the back of my head, I have no clue how I managed to do so well without this trifold mirror for so long. The mirrors are actually good quality. It’s very sturdy and the reflection is pristine. I didn’t get the one with the lights, but I still love the one that I got it fits almost anywhere. This is a good mirror. I ordered the one without the light as it seemed there were more issues/damage with the ones with lights on reviews. Fortunately this did not come with any defects. It looks and feels well made. The extended arms remind me of the antenna on an old school radio! Just pull/push. Easily hangs over doors or free standing on a dresser. You have a very good view of all sides of your head, however, I would not say 360 as you need another mirror to see the full back of your head. This is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. The media could not be loaded. I bought this mirror so I could start doing my own hair at home — and let me just say, I’m impressed. The quality is great, the packaging was solid, and it was easy to set up right out of the box. I love how the height is adjustable and that you can even use it flat on a desktop if needed. It’s super versatile! The 360-degree view really makes a difference. Being able to see the back and sides of my head clearly has made parting and styling so much easier. It’s also surprisingly sturdy and the glass is very clear — no distortion and no fogging up while I worked. Very lightweight. No fading in the color. It does take a little time to get used to using all three panels — I found myself doing a few circles at first just trying to line up the right angles. But once you get the hang of it, it’s so worth it. With this I shouldn’t need to go to the salon at all.
