I ordered these boots as a birthday present and was so excited for them, but unfortunately they do not appear to be new boots. The right boot has a very deep crease as if they’ve been worn for quite some time, and the leather is crinkly and old looking. Both the boots have several scuffs and scratches, the heel part of the soles aren’t attached well and there’s patches of some sort of sticky stuff in several places on the leather part of both of them. The tag was attached to them, but both boots had dirt on the bottoms of them. The stitching, especially on the right boot, isn’t done well and is messy looking. I’m so disappointed, these boots were exactly what I have been wanting for a long time and I was so excited when I found them; they would’ve been beautiful boots if they weren’t so damaged! I always go with Justin brand because they've been consistently great. However, these disappoint. They're scuffed fresh out the box and the soles feel thin. I'll wear them for work but can already tell they won't last long since it's like walking on slippers. I live in Arizona so I wear boots because they're necessary, not just to look western so being thinly made won't do. I'll give them some stars since they fit and look nice. Read more
