K&F concepts makes great photo accessories, and this 6" magic arm is no different. It's solidly built with all metal components, the lock is solid and allows you to move the arms and 1/4-20 mounts all in one motion. There is no play and the orange anodized locking knobs are easy to indentify and use. The only downside is that 6" isn't that useful and the clamp is a bit small. It's barely bigger than the palm of my hand. So only useful for holding small lights in place. Read more
I never realized I needed a Magic arm clamp kit. I took it out for a test run and thought why did I not get one of these sooner. I was able to use the clamp on a variety of objects and it held tight. I thought that having to loosen the turn knob to adjust would be a problem but it was not. To my surprise you can make small adjustments to it with no problems without loosening the turn knob. I like that it is small enough to fit in a pocket or back pack with no problem. I added a dji action cam mount to it which now makes it a great tool to mount my Pocket 3(with a special adapter) or action 2,4,5 or 6 right to it. I would say this is a must have for any creator or vlogger especially if you are vlogging in public or city setting. I did not test this with a bigger camera but it definitely feels solid enough for a small mirror less camera. K&F does a great job with making camera accessories and this one is no different. I bought the 6-inch version and it has been exceptional so far. The magic arm is incredibly simple to adjust yet very sturdy. Since I often switch between different locations and setups, it's perfect for quickly mounting lights or monitors to my cage, tripod, or any stable object – all without worrying about anything falling off. Bit of struggle to set up as it doesn’t really hold its shape until everything is tightened down, but once it is clamped to my monitor stand it holds strong. If I had to reconfigure this often it would get annoying. I am using it for a webcam so it sits in one spot 24/7. Read more
