While we’re still in summer mode over here, the reluctant hunt for school supplies has begun, starting with this utilitarian backpack. Although I can’t give a completely comprehensive review because the school year hasn’t started yet, here’s my first impressions: -if stowing away things in an array of zippered & top flap pouches are your jam, then this backpack is your fever dream. I lost track after the 8th pcoket -speaking of, hidden zippered pouch on the outer back panel, making this backpack not just for school but ideal for travel use, as well. -nylon strap affixed to the back of the backpack allows for it to easily go on the handle of a rolling suitcase -stretchy side pouches with ample room for most standard tumblers (it worked great with my 30 oz tumbler) -inside the main body of the backpack is 2 pockets to stow away folders & papers (the pocket isn’t wide enough to accommodate a laptop) -Nylon fabric will easily wipe off any stain & spillage, holding up under even the toughest of users. -trendy pink pom keychain is the cherry on top to set it apart from every other black backpack on campus (although this particular pink pom is being seen with increasing frequency) -The bag’s durable construction (coupled with the sturdy fabric) means that it should last for a few years of heavy duty use. Although the description of this backpack his backpack is great for any gender and any age. I got it thinking it would be good for me to carry my laptop in, but my son loved it so much that he decided to ditch his traditional Nike backpack that he gets at the beginning of each school year and to use this one instead, sans the cute little pink poof ball, of course. But our cats loved it, so we attached it to the string on their current toy wand, and "POOF", we have two new items instead of just one! :) Waste not, want not, as they say. The backpack is made of great fabric that is easy to clean, and was obviously made with a high level of craftsmanship. The zipper also seems to be of great quality. The size is perfect for either male or female. For this price, I couldn't be happier with this backpack. I'm sure my son will even travel to college next year with this backpack. Read more
