I purchased 4 pair of these Kanu Surf swim shorts for my partner, and he loves all of them. I would say they run true to size or slightly larger . (5’11 , 230lbs - XL.) I think I paid 5 dollars for one pair because that particular print was on sale. However, I would maintain that these are worth much more because they are high quality with well sewn seams and substantial weight to the fabric. The mesh lining has so far held up through many washings ( by hand only) although it is sort of fragile and flimsy . Also note: The inside of the side pockets at the waist are also made out of this same mesh so I don't think you could carry around heavy stuff ( keys, wallet etc. without it eventually breaking down or getting a hole in it). However, the insides of the cargo pockets on the thighs are the thicker fabric with velcro closures. Overall, I would definitely recommend these mens swim shorts. Read more
