This swim trunks are surprisingly high quality, even compared to those well-known brands selling at 10 times of price. I got mine from Amazon at less than $10. Such a great deal! Such a great find. Purchased for 6'4'' male with longer than average legs. Pros: -Color and style selection was ample. -Lots of different sizes, made it easy to select exactly what I would need -Size fitted as expected -Inter-netting doesn't bunch up or chaff. Cons: -Material feels a bit thin, unsure how it will hold up over the years -Pockets feel odd, like weird proportions (but it's on a swimsuit, so it's not a dealbreaker) -Draw string was a bit long and didn't offer too much support (but this is likely a body shape issue) Overall: 4 Stars I generally dislike shopping for bathing suits because being as tall as I am, most places won't have sizes that fit, specifically the leg length, or they are tighter in areas that you wouldn't want that. I purchased 4 pair of these Kanu Surf swim shorts for my partner, and he loves all of them. I would say they run true to size or slightly larger . (5’11 , 230lbs - XL.) I think I paid 5 dollars for one pair because that particular print was on sale. However, I would maintain that these are worth much more because they are high quality with well sewn seams and substantial weight to the fabric. The mesh lining has so far held up through many washings ( by hand only) although it is sort of fragile and flimsy . Also note: The inside of the side pockets at the waist are also made out of this same mesh so I don't think you could carry around heavy stuff ( keys, wallet etc. without it eventually breaking down or getting a hole in it). However, the insides of the cargo pockets on the thighs are the thicker fabric with velcro closures. Overall, I would definitely recommend these mens swim shorts. Read more
