Ok, let's talk about these pillows, lol. They are thick and adorable, BUT, if you are a side sleeper like me, it's a NO! My neck and shoulder was a mess. They do make good pillows for a decorative pillowcase, however, not sure if anyone would pay this much for decorative pillowcase stuffers. Wish this pillow was the one. It was interesting to see Kate Spade was making a line of pillows. These were adorable looking with their sly winking eyes, so I felt the desire to try them out. The pillows themselves are exactly as pictured, fluffy and full and cute as all hell. The embroidery is great, exactly what you may expect from a well known brand. However, I did find that the firmness was softer than I would expect from a "medium firm" pillow. Not bad, but something to be aware of if you prefer things on the firmer side. The main complaint I have is with the price point for what you're getting. The pillow has polyester which is a material that does not breath well. If you want a cool pillow, that won't really allow for that much. Polyester is also a cheaper material, so I'm not entirely seeing value for price with these pillows. You do get the pillow case itself which is made of a decent thread count cotton, and manufactured in OEKO-TEX Standard 100 factory, but that might not be enough to justify the price. If you're a big brand fan, or love the embroidery, then perhaps you're willing to spend the extra money, but for others I might suggest waiting for a sale if possible. Regardless, they are quality pillows, so you're not going to be disappointed by the product itself. Read more

I use a lot of pillows and buy them in all price ranges and quality. I liked the look of these because they are eco-friendly and meet safety and quality standards. Also, they're washable and even can be put into the dryer. Many of the pillows I buy wouldn't survive that process. I thought when I ordered them that they would be firm and round (like they look in the pics) and they are. When I laid on them though, they had a decent give for my head and neck. Putting a pillow case on is definitely like shoving a giant marshmallow into a small space, but I did get them on and they do look fine. I'm not sure why winking eyes need to be on pillows that are inside a pillowcase, but anyway, that is there, too. I was disappointed that they arrived in an open box along with plastic that was opened, exposing the pillows themselves, but that is a shipping issue and nothing to do with the manufacture process or how they left the factory.
