! had been looking for lights for our garage and realized that this lantern was perfect. The bronze color is attractive, the seeded glass matches our large post lanterns, and the lantern is very well made. Another reviewer said it had a plastic back plate, but it doesn't - the back plate is metal. I liked the rectangular shape and the craftsman design. The lantern was very easy to install and gives a generous amount of light. I was worried that the 60 watt maximum bulb might not be bright enough, but with three of these lanterns on our three car garage, the amount of light is good. Finally, the packaging was superb - very tight with padding inside the lantern itself and around it. I would definitely buy more lighting fixtures from this company!! Read more

This is a superior product. It looks beautiful and matches the post lamp perfectly. I would like it more if it had a motion sensor feature, but that has nothing to do with it's amazing quality. It was more expensive than others we looked at, but it is worth every penny. Read more

I installed three of these to replace some very old, very ugly, exterior lights and they look great. The "bronze" wasn't as bronze as I originally thought. From a distance they look almost black. Up close you can see that the dark brown finish was rubbed off of the corners giving it that antique look. But, who gets that close to an outdoor light fixture? They installed easily enough. I had to replace the brackets that were on the boxes but that was easy enough. Everything is included including the wire nuts. I did break one of the glass panels (oops!). I contacted Lamps Plus and they sent a free replacement which was very nice of them. The reason I broke the glass is that the glass is slightly tapered with the narrower end going down. I put it in backwards and forced it a bit too much and *crack*. My house is a Craftsman style so these really compliment that look. They're all metal with real glass. The glass is clear but bubbled; you can see the light bulb when they're off. A bit pricier than others that I looked at but many of those had plastic parts (including the "glass") so I spent the extra money for quality. Read more

As advertised. No issues. Came with nice hardware kit to install. You can disassemble unit and put it up in sections to make it easier. Finish is rustic with nice treatment on the glass to opaque the light. No light sensor to auto on but that's what I was looking for. Install your own LED bulb and go. Update 7/22/19 - ordered 3 more of these and received them with 2 broken glass panes. They pressure crack in the corners as they are shipped fully assembled. Both failed exact same way. Contacted supplier and received replacements. Upgrade to 5 star for customer service! Read more

This light is attractive and inexpensive, and it works well. However some of the parts are plastic (the back plate) and the two nuts that holds the lamp to the mount are tiny and flimsy. My biggest gripe is how difficult is was to remove the very tightly packed foam that protects the lamp glass. Every one of the six lights a bought had foam packed inside the glass housing that was extremely difficult to remove and often broke, covering my deck with tiny pieces of foam. Read more
