I am so pleased with the quality and esthetics of these sconces! I recently had new siding and stonework done on my home and wanted to add a lighting element that showed off the stonework around my garage and provided good lighting around the front door. I also wanted something that was also practical and weatherproof. I live in upstate NY and it gets really cold and really windy here in the winter and really hot and humid in the Summer. They came in a well packaged box, perfect size for my garage and front door, contain 2 bulb spots in each fixture so you can adjust how much light you want, the installation was quick and easy and they look really expensive but were so affordable!! We searched for quite some time at usual big box hardware stores for something more modern to change the outdated lights on the outside of the home and needless to say we couldn’t find anything. After doing some searching on Amazon I came across these units so I took a shot and ordered them. Very impressed with the build quality of them. The media could not be loaded. These lights are first class! Well made and very beautiful design. You need to be careful when you install them because as a DYI install it may be easier to put your bulb choice in first. The glass top and bottom covers seal very well (to keep bugs and moisture out). Do not remove the little plastic pieces designed to make it easier to pull open the glass covers until you are completely done! This is a good thing if you do as I say not as I did(ha)! Looks great! Was easy to install. Really makes the house look contemporary. Plenty of light with the lights shining both upward and downward. My only concern is that the exposed screw mounts for the screw caps were really short. The caps screwed on, but I wonder how sturdy it will be for holding the lights up over time. Read more
