I am editing this review to five stars. It is evident that the good folks at kawa did answer my emails but they went through amazons message system and I was never notified. They did reach out to me directly and apologized offering a full refund or replacement which I declined. I cannot accept anything under false pretense and I had unknowingly found the problem. That being said, these are awesome cameras that respond just as advertised BUT you cannot connect them to an Android tablet which was exactly what I had tried to do repeatedly untill one day picking up my wife's cell phone, downloading the app and everything worked as it was supposed to. Get this camera, it is awesome and the voice control works flawlessly. I love that it hides behind the rear view mirror. Thank you fawa for your offer and understanding in this, my stupidity. Below are original submissions. After trying repeatedly, reading and rereading the instructions, and watching the useless video twice I gave up. Three emails over the last eight days and not one answered by kawa. My advice...skip this one, update: I am upgrading to four stars. I initially was going to return because you get no customer service from this company but decided to keep it. After three weeks and numerous attempts it finally connected. Don't know how or why but it did. I put it in my wife's car not expecting much but, amazingly, everything works as it should and the video quality is amazing. It's camera worked well for about a month. After that, it was very intermittent and only worked less than half of the time. I was unable to recover footage after a few incidents because the camera did not work. Update: the company reached out to me and had excellent customer service. They provided a replacement. I used the new device for a month before writing this review. The new camera works substantially better than the original. My only issue is that sometimes, you have to manually turn the camera on whereas other times, it automatically turns on with the vehicle. Read more

this is a great value dash cam for the price. the video quality during the day is very clear, night videos are hit or miss, objects are clear but i have a hard time reading the plates. the camera is pretty small and can be tucked away. there is no screen on the dashcam but the voice assistant is adequate. the camera can also be rotated to face the interior of the car. the app is also very easy to use. the folder structures of the videos and pictures are also very well laid out and is great that you dont need spcial software to view the files. the only con for this dash cam is the lack of a small battery, which wouldve been nice to have for emergencies but at this price point, the quality of the videos are very good. We originally got this for long trips but just leave it in the truck all the time now. I was surprised at how clear the videos are and ease of installation. I was expecting way more issues trying to get it hooked up but there were none. It's got a cool emergency recording and it's super easy to play it back on my iPhone. Read more
