I previously purchased the Kemei 1102 shaver and was really impressed with it. At the time, it was selling for around $20 +/-. It shaved like the old Braun foil shavers- very close! Big foils and blades, unlike the current generation of Braun and Panasonic shavers. I liked it so much that I bought two for my grown sons. Anyway, it met with an accident- not it's fault. I replaced it with this shaver, the Kemei 2026. It's amazing! The motor is much quieter than the 1102, has three speeds (so far I've only used the medium), also has a long running time, and shaves me as close and comfortably as the old Brauns. I've been a wet shaver using double edged safety razors for many years, and this shaver absolutely shaves as close as a quality double edge safety razor! And I can shave in about three minutes. I use shaving soap, or a gel, or just a thin slick layer of bar soap, and it gets my skin down to baby butt smooth. This shaver is an excellent value- for some reason it's cheaper than the 1102, at this time. Better get one before the price goes up! Read more

This is a great electric razor. Never a burn on my neck and one charge for a normal beard lasts 6 days. I have used this razor for 4 years with no break downs. Actually a good shaver for the price, but here's the rub. I scoured the internet looking for a replacement foil and nothing. This subject comes up in the Questions section on this product. Soooo, here is the only solution I found. You can pop off the top and remove the blade beneath the bad foil. Be darn sure to remove all of that foil as well. It's not hard to do. This turns your Fraser into a one slot but now, at least it's usable and you now have a replacement blade. Times are hard, even a shaver this cheap should not have to be chucked into the trash just because the replacement foils can't be found. Lots of us out here living on fixed incomes. Seems like the description states one can wet shave with it. Took it in shower and seemed to work well. Later it would and wouldn’t work. Some water may have penetrated the case. Let it set until totally dry. Seems ok now but only using it to dry shave. Will try wet a bit later. Read more
