For the price you can't go wrong. I think it's an attractive belt to use with jeans. It rings through belt lips effortlessly. The buckle is very pliable so it's not tight when you tighten it up. I just bought it as a quick fix do to losing a lot of weight and needing a shorter belt. Needles to say though, I'm very pleased with it and think most people will be happy with it too. Read more

I have a reversible belt that has stretched out of shape. When I saw a ratchet belt buckle I was intrigued. I got a brown one, and a black one. The black was ruined and replaced extremely quickly. On the back of the belt (inside) at the end that the buckle attaches, are marks in inches. These inches were marked incorrectly. I wear 36" and I cut at the 38" mark. The finished length became about 30". I highly recommend to measure and mark the length on your own before cutting. I did this with the brown and replacement black belts and they wear perfectly. The release for the ratchet is underneath the belt buckle and is intentionally small. I recommend practicing using this a few times, if this is your first ratchet buckle. The leather is both sturdy and soft. The buckle is pretty cool looking and simple at the same time. This is a very nice product. Read more

I'm not wearing it this second, but pleased with the belt, as I can go through them quite quickly (often wearing them for long walks in the heat/cold with more than 20 pounds on my back), and so far, it is holding together. The underside has cracked a bit, but given the extra humidity I expose it to, this seems acceptable. If I were more dormant, I doubt this would be a risk.
