This ratcheting belt is made of PU leather and feels very soft to the touch. It has a moderate sheen along with a classic appearance that it will go well with jeans and casual dress pants. The ratcheting mechanism operates smoothly and provides a good fit in addition to easily being adjustable and removed. Despite being PU leather, the quality appears well made and hoping it's durable that I will get many months or years of use out of it. In addition, the belt can easily be resized to accommodate a smaller waste simply by cutting to proper length at the buckle end and then reattaching to the buckle by flipping the metal teeth back into place, so the belt is locked and tight.
