I am 71 years old and have cooking and baking since I’ve been 12. I’ve burned out 4 hand mixers and have had a 3qt, 5qt and 8 quart Kitchen Aide mixer. I like to have a hand mixer for quickie small batches of cookies or cakes….so of course I purchased a … kitchen Aide! I went up to my daughters one day to watch the kids and decided to make them a treat, she had a hand mixer I was holding it lightly with one hand as I do with my hand mixer at home, turned it on while grabbing an egg……. Ann’s the mixer almost flew out of hand!!!!!! I had just as much power as my 8qt Kitchen Aide stand mixer!!!! Looking down I see I am using a KENMORE ….., yep a KENMORE! I could not believe it! I’ve had quite a few different hand mixers, Black and Decker, Cuisinart, Sears and even a Kitchen Aide… none had the power compared to this KENMORE ! Before I continued with the cookies I was making….. I ordered myself a KENMORE and have been using it ever since! Bonus ….. the cords reels in and it has a storage case…….and …..it was $35 !!!!!! This product does not permit a very low speed which causes the items you are trying to mix together to spray all over. I would have returned the item but I waited too long & the time expired. Read more

This Kenmore hand mixer takes some getting use to because it sure is powerful. Place your mixing bowl in your sink to avoid splatter clean up. Read more

Very nice retractable cord mixer. Works well but the lowest speed is on par with most mixer's high speed. This is a five speed mixer. Level one equates to HIGH on most mixers. Level two is slightly faster, level three approaches MACH 1, level four is even higher, and level five approaches WARP SPEED. Needless to say, if you try to mix anything thin it will fling half your bowl all over the kitchen. I've never made as big of a mess making a chocolate cake with any previously owned mixer as I made with this one. It has plenty of power and is as good as any good hand mixer out there, it just need to have much lower low speeds. Read more
