These are wonderful knives for any aspiring young chefs. They are sturdy and well-made, and easily cut through carrots, melons, fruits, bread, and a variety of other foods, while being safe for fingers and skin. The ends are nicely curved, and if I dragged the knife over my hand, it does not cut or hurt. In fact, it would be quite difficult to cut skin with these knives.
