Easy installation, plug in to wall outlet, easy to read & understand instructions on where to place these in your home or business, nice size, loud alarm sound, easy to read , great safety , it even has an expiration date which causes the alarm to sound when it expires which will be many years from your date of purchase. This unit fits perfectly in a small bedroom outlet. Enough room for the detector to be put in the bottom socket and a night light on the top socket. Comes with 2 AA batteries. Easy install and setup. Good price and reliable. Read more

This item is an excellent base model carbon monoxide detector! These last for a very long time and are simple to set up and operate. You should never have any problems with this model. We have had several of these over the years and they have all been very good. This model does not have all the possible "bells and whistles" that you can get on a Kidde detector but it is most certainly equipped well enough to alert you if a problem arises. Also, you can periodically test the unit to be sure it is functioning properly by merely pressing a button on the front. I certainly recommend this detector for basic installations and for its ease of use and strong durability! Read more

This carbon monoxide detector was easy to install and works exactly as expected. I like that it plugs directly into the wall but still has a battery backup in case of a power outage. The test and hush button is convenient, and the unit is not bulky or intrusive. It gives peace of mind knowing it is there and functioning properly. I would definitely recommend this for any home.
