After using this keyboard for several weeks, I can confidently say it’s one of the best I’ve owned. The key switches feel crisp and responsive, making both gaming and typing extremely comfortable. The build quality is excellent , not to mention that it feels great as well. It also has a sturdy frame, smooth stabilizers, and clean, well-balanced lighting. I am a keyboard snob. I've been a Keychron user for many years and have tried a ton of other brands. Lately I really wanted something more smooth and thocky. I tried so many keyboards from Keychron, WOBKEY, NuPhy, Womier, Epomaker, Aula, Chillkey, and Shortcut Studio. Many were quite fine (WOBKEY, Shortcut Studio to name a few), but there was always something I didn't like (feel, sound, build). Watched DAYS worth of review videos and such. My daughter is a writer and suggested looking at KiiBOOM. She uses one and they had just released this Moonshadow V2. I'm typically a TKL guy, but wanted to give this a try. WOW! I LOVE IT! Out of the box it is smooth, feels great, and is thocky but creamy feeling. I can't explain it. It's not super deep, but deep enough sounding to make me happy. It looks great and the snap case for customization is awesome. It comes with a PC plate too. My only minor complaint is the included switch (the KiiBOOM Flicks) are a bit off for what I prefer, but better than most switches included with pre-built keyboards. I wound up ordering KiiBOOM Matche Lattes from KiiBOOM (super cheap directly from KiiBOOM) and wow! LOVE THEM. I do also wish that the VIA support was better. The media could not be loaded. I was torn between the Keychron Q6 Pro, Rainy75, and Crush80, but I’m so glad I went with the KiiBOOM Moonshadow V2. The sound is everything I hoped for—creamy, thocky, and addictively satisfying. Typing feels smooth and effortless thanks to the excellent switches and keycaps, and the premium build quality makes it feel like a true high‑end board. The tri‑mode connectivity (Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, and wired) has been flawless, and for the price, it’s honestly unbeatable. This keyboard nails the balance of performance, aesthetics, and value. Great sound and nice looking board. However the typing feel is very stiff, even though it has flex cuts on the pcb and plate. Switches felt mushy, heavy and slow to me unfortunately. I would definitely swap them out if you plan on getting this. Read more

Firstly, the look on my wife and I's faces when I started typing on this keyboard fresh out of the box LOLL. Anyway, I spent hours researching the quietest and ideally thockiest sounding mechanical keyboard. Like sleep-losing hours. I listened to hour-long videos of sound sampling and reviews and even tutorials on DIY keyboards. Then I randomly clicked on a YouTube short that reviewed this keyboard - lasting seriously no more than 15 seconds and it was enough to drop it in my cart and hit send. And holyyyy THOCKK. Out-of-the box, no adjustments, no replaced switches - just a beautiful looking and ear-melting keyboard. OH, and bonus, yes, it is completely customizable and hot-swappable (not that you need to do ANYTHING at all - besides maybe customize the keyset to your liking) and it uses VIA, which rules.
