For the price this is easily a 5 star purchase without hesitation. Great knife. They could charge $500 USD for the 8.5 kiritsuke knife and it is under $75. Great weight, sharpness, and it is beautiful as well. I slice through French shallots and carrots like butter. Read more
Beautiful knives
I purchased these knives as a gift and I was pleased to see they came in a very nice box with lots of padding to protect the extremely sharp edges. The mirror finish on these knives is flawless, and the handles are beautiful and comfortable to hold. My wife was extremely happy receiving this set and she has commented on the sharpness and balance saying they are a pleasure to use. Overall I highly recommend these quality knives. Read more
New favorite Santoku
I have always had and enjoyed Santokus and bought this one to complement my other Japanese kitchen knives. This Damascus blade is awesome; razor sharp and a great for all around use. It is on the heavier side, blade heavy I should specify, which to me is ideal for the way I use this knife, the blade does the work. I highly recommend this knife to those who prefer the “rock chop” motion. Yet this knife is just as adept for pull or push cuts, straight chop. Tip work is above average for a Santoku. Well worth the money. I also recently purchased a Kiritsuke from this company and am extremely pleased with it as well. Read more
