i have had my cooker for a wile now and iv cooked everything in it. iv cooked beans in about an hour, potatoes in under 20 mins, iv cooked meat and yes i have cooked rice. the only problem i have is that i cant make brown rice soft. iv tried several ways and i just cant get it soft. and if you want to try some of the best mexican rice iv had, put your rice and water in the cooker. then take a pak of dry taco season mix and stir it in to the rice and water and cook like normal. you will be surprised! The 2 securing clips at the top on either side of the cooker do not fit securely leaving the top of the cooker loose. I'm not happy about it. The top should fit snugly on the cooker so that when I store it in the fridge I know the rice will stay fresh. Read more
