Mat comes rolled up so you need to work to get it flat. Rolling it the opposite way that it came is a good start. If used on carpet the pad is a bit on the thin side and wheeled chairs will leave divots. It’s a problem with most mats as I have yet to find one that is great. This one is ok for the price.
