I added this Fohere knife set to our kitchen and it has been great. The knives feel very comfortable in our hands and they look great. We get complements on the knifes anytime they get used. It is always great to reach for these beautiful knives for paring, chopping, slicing, or mincing. They are made with stainless steel so the quality is great. The storage block has built in sharpeners, so every time you pull the knives out of the block they get a quick sharpening. That is like a huge bonus with the beautiful knife block. The steak knives in the set allows your guests to use when they are cutting steaks, pork chops, or chicken. I ordered this as a house warming gift for my son. The knives arrived with a super sharp edge. The package includes the most commonly used/needed knives for most kitchen tasks. I find it remarkable that you get such a quality set of knives that include sissors and the storage block at this price. The really cool feature about the storage block is that it includes a spot for the sissors and has knife sharpeners built into the block. The block has icons on next to the storage openings to show what knife goes into each slot. This is a really good feature, since I'm always guessing what knife I'm pulling out of my current knife block rack. The FOHERE Knife Set is unique. The knives look nice and are comfortable to use. The block they fit in has a steel sharpener built into each slot according to the knife’s size. It is such a clever idea and means of keeping your knives sharpened and ready to work. Upon use, they feel similar to other knife sets. The blades have a pretty pattern, identical to that of Damascus Steel, but are stated as purely decorative. They are lightweight; when I first picked one up, I thought the handle was plastic; it’s very light and balanced to the blade, with a comfortable grip. This knife set looks distinguished, and the self-sharpening slots on the block where they are stored are a real plus. The FOHERE Knife Set would be a good addition to any kitchen and make a lovely wedding or housewarming gift. Of course, you will be happy with these if you need to replace your current knife set. These knives look and cut amazing.. The ceramic sharpeners definitely do what they are supposed to. Everything about this set is amazing so far.. They look amazing on the counter. They feel good in the hand. Even the scissors are extremely sharp. Usually the scissors are cheap feeling in these kits but not the case with these.. My one gripe is the laser etched "Damascus " look.. In my opinion there is no reason for it. These are higher quality knives and the Etching makes them look like cheap knock offs. This knife set looks nice and sharp and has a cool sound when you're pulling a knife out and it slides against the knife sharpener 😉 Which, by the way, I absolutely LOVE the fact that these sharpen as you slide them out of their slots. How genius is that?! Dull knives are a pet peeve of mine when trying to fix a meal and I couldn't be happier with this genius idea. Definitely the selling point for me! These knives are super lightweight. I do prefer a little more weight to my kitchen knives personally, but, if someone is looking for a lightweight knife set, then this is definitely where it's at. This 7-piece set is currently priced at $50 which is a steal. The knives are not top quality but they are excellent quality for the price. The set would be a fantastic starter set for a college kitchen or first apartment. The knives are dishwasher safe but, as with most knives, they should be hand washed, dried with a soft towel and stored in the block to preserve the sharp edge. The knives are well constructed and balanced and the handles have a pretty fishscale design to increase friction and therefore safety when cutting. The set includes the basics: 8" chef's knife, 8" serrated bread knife, 8" slicing knife, 5.5" utility knife, 3.5" paring knife, kitchen shears, and a solid knife block that offers a self sharpening feature.
