Alright, so I bought this Diamond Abrasives Electric Knife Sharpener because my knives had gotten so dull they were basically glorified butter spreaders. I’d try cutting a tomato and it would just smoosh like a sad fruit crime. So I said ENOUGH and grabbed this little sharpening beast. First of all, this thing looks innocent. Cute. Compact. Very “I will politely sharpen your knives.” LIES. This machine woke up ready to turn my kitchen knives into weapons of mass precision. I plugged it in and the noise it made was like, “Step aside, amateur, MOMMA’S WORKIN’.” I slid the first knife through, fully expecting nothing, and I swear sparks didn’t fly but the energy said they WANTED to. The diamond abrasives do NOT play. One quick pass and suddenly this knife had an EDGE. Like, “I can slice paper in the air for funsies” kind of sharp. And the dust collection box?? Whoever designed that deserves a snack and a nap. No metal dust all over my counter, no sparkly debris clinging to everything, just a nice neat little box catching all the knife shavings like a responsible adult. Bless. I tried it on my ceramic knife too you know, the one that hasn't cut anything properly since the stone ages and BOOM, sharpened. Polished. Brought back to life like a kitchen utensil resurrection. Does an ok job. It is easy to stall the motor when doing the coarse grind. It takes practice to draw knife through smoothly. Would advise practicing with a knife you are not concerned with throwing away. Read more

I love everything about this sharpener. My knife set was so dull and pitted . I was planning on buying a new set but so glad I decided to try this out first bc of all the great reviews. After only a few minutes my knives went from almost trash to brand new...they have never been so sharp and I mean they were not even this sharp when I bought them. I love this product so much I am thinking of buying one for my sister as a gift. Don't wast your money on other less or more expensive ones...the price is well worth it and you won't be disappointed...also I love that it doesn't take up a lot of room because I have limited space!
