The plastic housing of the filter is sturdy with good integrity, so it seems to withstand high water pressure well. At least no negative reviews about the filter breaking and flooding the bathroom floor. Of course, only time will tell if the filter really works to prolong the service life of our washlets. I liked it that each filter came shrink-wrapped for protection. For TOTO washlets owners: We have TOTO C2 models (the one with attached control panel). One reviewer said the filter did not fit their TOTO C5 model. I suspect our C2 models have the same fittings for the water supply tubing and, indeed, the filter did not fit, and water leaked out. On closer inspection I understood why it did not seal: the threading on the nipple end of the filter has only 3 turns whereas the inside threading on the coupling nut of the TOTO tubing has 5 turns, making the nipple too short to effectively seal. I used a rubber faucet washer (bonnet packing?) to counter the shortcoming of the nipple. It must be small enough to fit inside the nipple so the end of the washlet tubing will rest on it and seal when the coupling nut is screwed tightly. I hope this helps. Read more

they connected directly to the T connector and supply tubing without having to tighten them excessively. Just hand tight and a 1/4 turn and they have no leak. I realized after that I had long stainless steel tubing from the filter to bidet making a large loop. It is better to have the longest supply hose since it is simple to remove the bidet and clean and you can set the bidet on the floor and clean and return it to the toilet with ease. You don't have to take off the hose to do the cleaning. The longer the supply tubing the easier the removal and clean underneath with lots of room to turn and lay down... The water pressure is still strong with the filter on the bidet. Read more
