I saw this recommended and gave it a try. We were leaving for a monthlong trip in which we would be spending several hours every day outdoors in the sun. I burn easily, so wanted something that would work. I don’t like chemical sunscreens, but also don’t like the white haze that natural sunscreens leave on my skin. This applies so easily, just like my moisturizer, that I was sure it wouldn’t work. I was surprised to find that it worked as well as any sunscreen I’ve ever used. No sunburn during the entire trip, without reapplying ever after the first application in the morning. No white film. Rubs in easily. 33 light skinned Latino male. I’ve been looking for a sunscreen that will help with my skin routine. I’ve tried about 8 different kinds. I’d say this is THE best sunscreen I’ve used and yes, the most expensive. When asked if it is worth it from my friends when they get shocked for a price of sunscreen I immediately say yes. It leaves NO white cast. NOTHING. Even after built up of 3 applications. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling like I have multiple layers of lotion like some other brands. Also, I am very sensitive to the sun. To me it feels like my skin is burning when I go outside. With other spf’s that I’ve had ranging from PSF 30, 55 and 70. I have to say the the SPF 100 in this bottle is a night and day difference on my skin-coverage; the actual skin-burning-feeling I get while being outside in the sun with the other spf ranges I mentioned do not compare to this SPF100. I wear it and am confident that my hard earned money is getting every penny worth from this product. I know the price is scary to look at but trust me when I say this it’s worth it. Oh and for those that are curious about the texture of this spf lotion. You are going to be shook! It has this oddly satisfying feeling of homemade whipped cream. If you’ve never made that then think of a mans shaving cream that foams out of a can, now make it twice as dense and that’s what it feels like. The cool and weird this is, your skin will literally drink up the lotion. No time consuming rub-it-in-the-skin type of sunscreens to prevent white cast. With other SPF lotions I’ve used, they usually leave an oily film left on top. Not this spf. It just feels like a hydrating nourish lotion. This is a very good product with a high SPF that I feel very confident in. I consider it to be one of my best facial sunscreens. It’s 4/5 stars only because I am still looking for a product that melts into my skin a little better and feels like a moisturizer too, this product feels like a sunscreen if that makes sense. It IS, but what I nean by this it it’s a little tackier to blend in and feels like my skin is a bit coated, so I’m always looking for that holy grail sun protection that protects, leaves no white cast, doesn’t feel like a layer sitting on top of my skin, and isn’t too greasy. That’s asking a lot, and this sunscreen is very good, but I wish it could blend into my skin and moisturize a bit more. It doesn’t cause me any irritation or major issues but like almost all other sunscreen products I have tried on my face, it has caused a whitehead or two. They go away with one of those mighty patch pimple patch things, but I don’t usually break out much at all, I believe it is one of the broad spectrum sunscreen ingredients since it happens with most face SPFs often enough. I wish I knew which ingredient does it, most of the face sunscreens I try have the same active ingredients. Anyway, when I wear this, I don’t burn, and I’m sure it’s just as effective for the UVA rays.
