I use pimple patches very often and I have to say these are the 1st one that actually got rid of the pimple over night and not just tamed it. It has little spikes, you can feel them when you put it on. It’s not uncomfortable or painful though. It also blended very well with my skin tone and didn’t look gross after a while. I bought a bunch of the HeroLabs brand version of this product but wanted to try the Laflare brand to see if it worked better. I had pretty much the same experience with both brands. When I used at the VERY first sign of a pimple it did seem to help it from getting bigger at the very least. (Using 2-3 patches.) Anything beyond that it did nothing. You are suppose to put these on for 6 hours but I always take them off way sooner - like an hour later. From what I understand the "micro-needles" are suppose to push into your skin and then the skin absorbs the medication deep down. Sounds really cool in theory, but the medication seems to melt and pool under the patch. Then I have the patches sliding around on my face and have to wipe off the medication. I'm sure I'm putting them on right since when I push them against my skin I can feel the micro-needles. It's like a pinch! (I originally thought the stuff under the patch was pulled from the pimple but I use Hydrocolloid patches for that and they don't pull stuff out unless it's come to head. So I am confident its just the medication not being absorbed.) If these do work for you the Laflare brand is nice since it comes in two sizes! You only get 6 in a pack so they wont last long (compared to getting 18 in a pack of HeroLabs). I wouldn't recommend either brand. I think dabbing 10% benzoyl peroxide on a pimple twice in a day is a lot more effective and cost efficient. Read more
These pimple patches don't stick very well, they seemed oily underneath and instead of adhering they kept sliding around. I found myself touching my face a lot when I had them on because I could feel them releasing from my skin around the edges. It says you can get them wet ("wettability") but I wouldn't because they'll fall off. My experience doesn't jive with the idea of the micro-needles, that sounds like something that would really cling to my face - but these don't. They work ok, the bigger the pimple and the earlier you catch it then the better they work. Definitely reduces the redness of any given spot by more than half, but they don't really remove the oil from the pimple very well. I've had better, anyway. Read more
The patch doesn’t fall off. It worked for me. It didn’t cause me any skin irritation whatsoever. Using this is much better than popping the pimple. I was not bothered when it was on me. Application was a little bit of a challenge, but overall it did what I needed. I don't see anything that distinguish this from other brands. Read more
These are great pimple patches! Especially good for the down deep pimples that haven't yet come to the surface. These helped reduce the size of the pimple over night and adhere to the skin well. Definitely recommend it. 👌 Read more
These don't work as well as the other hydrocolloids I use -- both with microdarts and without. Between that and the misleading "look we photoshopped in a blemish and then we took it out!" photos in the product description, I wouldn't particularly recommend these. Read more
Micro Spot Care Patch, Self-Dissolving Microdart Acne Pimple Patch for Zits and Blemishes I've used soooo many acne patches and these are some of the more interesting ones I've used. Unlike most acne patches, these have "darts" that are meant to penetrate the skin for better sebum and oil absorption. I don't think they penetrate that deeply, so they're not the most effective for that. They do absorb the gunk out of your skin as expected, but not as effectively as advertised. These patches just don't perform significantly better than the non-dart ones I've used. These patches come wonderfully packaged and are easy to peel off. However, with only 6 patches per package, it's very pricey for what it is. Overall, give it a try if you're interested, but I personally won't repurchase. Read more
These pimple patches are very efficient. I like to use them on pimples that haven’t yet come to a head, I would not use them on whiteheads. Hydrocolloid pimple patches are to cover and protect the surface pimple while this is to treat one before it surfaces. Read more
