Great little machine, I really like how tiny it is and does not take much space on my desk. Easy to use and I would recommend give it a time to heat up for good seal before usage. Also, to pull with hands on either sides will help a decent result. Adhesive and laminated pouches included, good sealing and valuable is good. Read more

I wanted to get a laminator machine to help protect important documents (social security card and birth certificate) and this laminator machine worked very well. The instructions were easy to follow and it only took about a minute for the machine to heat up. I absolutely love this laminator! I've been using it to laminate all my favorite recipes, and it's been amazing in the kitchen. I used this immediately when it arrived to laminate our car insurance cards, since you have to print them - can’t remember the last time an insurance company sent us one. Anyway, it heated up as quickly as advertised and did a beautiful job, no bubbles or anything. We can’t show pictures, obviously, but my husband used to work at a major office supply chain for years, working with large laminating machines, and was also quite pleased with how well this worked. It was my first experience laminating something myself and I was delighted with how user friendly it was. I also like how compact it is, for storage purposes. I don’t know how much replacement sheets will be but I don’t imagine it will be prohibitive. We don’t have anything that requires cold laminating so I can’t speak to that functionality, but it comes with a switch to free your item if the machine jams (it didn’t jam on us). My husband of course immediately trimmed his insurance card too closely, such that it broke the seal. He thinks we need to buy a better trimmer. I will say it doesn’t help grip what you’re trying to trim, very well, such that my card slipped while I was trimming it. The top of the trimmer easily comes free, rather than functioning to clamp your project down, so I have to agree with him on that - it’s why we gave this 4 stars rather than 5. Overall I think you get your money’s worth in this purchase. We don’t have a great many things we need to laminate, so I don’t know how this will stand up to heavy use, such as for crafters or people who do photo albums, etc. Read more
