Tired of propping up my laptop on a box (or a ream of copy paper), I looked for a sturdy, yet un-fussy laptop stand that had a certain amount of adjustability without being over the top. 99% of the time my laptop stand would sit, unchanged after the initial adjustment, but I still wanted to be able to take it elsewhere if I were working remotely for the day. Set-up: I had to bust out my own torx allen wrench, but other than that it was a breeze. TIP: if you can't get the stand the rotate or swivel, you need to loosen screws. A torx wrench will not be provided for this. Usage: Almost perfect. It is stable, looks great and makes my desk set-up much more professional and clean. I only wish that it could go 2 to 3 inches higher since I use my laptop cameral for a lot of Zoom calls. Portability: This was not made to be portable, so it is a bit unfair for me to make a judgment on this, but I don't find it difficult to take with me if I were working at a different office for the day. With that said, it is far from "portable". It doesn't collapse or fold unless you disassemble it, so you will need to carry it in a mid-sized tote. Good news is that it is fairly light. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend! Read more

I am using it with a Microsoft Surface Book 2 whose screen/tablet has a separate battery which makes the whole machine top/rear heavy. At 0-tilt the center of gravity is so much towards the rear that the whole setup topples. To keep the arrangement stable I had to go full-tilt and tighten the hex screw to the max (effectively blocking the tilt adjustment). The top plate should have one or two additional sets of positioning holes (see drawing as a possible suggestion) or some form of y-axis indexing, thus allowing the user to bring the plate forward (and the center of mass of the OPEN laptop closer to the vertical z-axis). Otherwise the built quality is top, and complements very nicely the Surface. Before you ask - the height adjustment requires two hands but is convenient and locks unequivocally; the rotation around the vertical axis is entirely satisfactory/firm. Read more

Finding the perfect laptop stand was harder than I thought, but the YoFeW Adjustable Laptop Stand really checks all the boxes! It's made of sturdy aluminum, so it feels solid even with my heavier laptop. The best part? It's super versatile with multi-angle height adjustment and 360° rotation. I can easily switch between sitting and standing, and the rotation feature is a game changer when I need to share my screen with someone. It’s also compatible with all my devices, from my MacBook Pro to my friend's Dell XPS, which is a huge plus. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t need a little height boost these days? Whether you're working from home or at the office, this stand is a total game changer. It's made my desk setup look way more professional too—definitely worth the investment! Read more

It’s a solid good-looking stand. You have to screw the top and bottom pieces together which is annoying but understandable so it can be packed flat. Strengths: sturdy, similar finish to my silver MacBook Pro. Easily adjustable. Weaknesses: Allen screw for tilt comes pre-tightened so tightly that I had to get an Allen wrench and a male person to loosen it so it would be adjustable. I’ve seen other users having this issue as well. Lowest height is higher that my previous stand so if you’re looking to go high, you’re good, but if you like a lower stand, maybe not do much. Packaging sucked - came to my door in no other packaging than the product box, everything inside was loosely wrapped like the item might have been a previous return, and part of the inside box part was ripped so the pieces were jiggling around inside. Great laptop Stan. I love the Adjustable heights and angles, the color. I didn’t have much problem putting it together. I attached the bottom base to the pole first. You have to make sure the holes are lined up with the holes in the pole. Then place all the screws in slightly before you tighten them. Do the same for the top, but make sure the two lips in the front that keeps the laptop from falling off the surface are facing upwards. Once set up turn the side knob to raise it. You have to push down to lower it and tighten the knob once you get it to where you desire. It took a couple days for me to realize that it can spin on the base because at first it wouldn’t move from left to right. I studied the design a bit and concluded that it is built to turn on the base. So, I twisted it back and fourth and yep it loosened up a bit. I love it even more now. Maybe it was just be my arthritic muscles (lol). I have 2 other stands but I wanted to send them back now that I got this! Ah...too late. Very sturdy. Excellent quality, engineering and beautiful finish! My fave!!! Read more

UPDATE 7/21/2020: The seller reached out to me a few days ago and sent a new laptop stand. WOW, what an improvement. This one is way more sturdy and no scratches! I'm not sure if the original shipment was an Amazon shipment problem or quality control, but I'm updating my rating to 5 stars. I was very excited to receive this stand based on the pictures of both the seller and other customers. Upon opening, I noticed that the stand was scratched even though the box was closed. I sent an e-mail to the seller (they have a card inside their box that tells you to e-mail them, and received no response. I'm writing this as a follow up to anyone who decides to purchase this product. This stand is just OK, and it serves its purpose, but don't expect anything out of the ballpark. The part of the stand that holds your laptop can be a little wobbly, but I think this may be a result of the 360 rotation capability. I haven't had any issues yet with my laptop shaking around while using it yet, but just for your knowledge. Read more
