I have a 4 year old Golden Retriever and I have tried so many dog beds over the years with zero luck. He would not even put a paw on them. As he is getting older, he started laying on my bed and then on the tile floor, and I was constantly worried about his hips and joints. I finally decided to try this bed and I am so glad I did. The moment it came out of the box, before I even put the cover on, my dog immediately laid on it and started rolling around. He clearly loved it right away. For reference, he is about 100 pounds and this bed is huge. He has plenty of room to stretch and roll, honestly it could fit two of him. I was looking for a comfortable bed, both in size and quality, and most importantly, it should be easy to wash. This bed met all my requirements for a bed for my beloved dog. It seems to be a decent quality bed in terms of construction and expected durability. My dog doesn't like it though and prefers the floor (or any other pillow/blanket/bag/fabric scrap around). It also seems quite a bit thinner and less supportive than the other reviews made it seem. So, four stars. Read more
