This mighty little unit does a very adequate job. Compact, short, discreetly stored - but heats a 20x20 foot room within 5 minutes. Remote control handles all features: level of heat required, on/off, swivel of unit, etc. Heat is directed upwards, not directly at ground level, thus avoiding furniture etc. if properly placed. When purchases are made blind on the internet, results are. hit or miss. I took a chance on this one and am pleased with the product. Caveat: warm dry air can create nasal congestion. After several years of using Lasko products, I'm happy to say that this small heater is just as efficient and dependable as their larger models. In fact, I've found that it will heat a larger area than specified. All adjustments for temperature, rotation, auto shut-off, force of blowing air, timer, and auto shut-off based on a set time or on a temperature work well. (There are a few more setting options that I have yet to try.) It's perfect for any room, especially given it's small size and low key design. It gets high marks from me. Read more

Powerful little heater that puts out a lot of heat. My one complaint is the if you happen to accidentally touch the front, even for a second, you’ll get burned because it is so very hot. I have several cats so I’ve had to place it on top of a step stool to keep them from getting burned. None of my other heaters are hot to the touch so am disappointed about this. Read more

Was very easy to set up. Heats and oscillates quietly and very well. The digital display allows me to select a specific temperature. I ordered one last year but it wasn't digital and the lowest setting was 65. I usually set it 58 to 62 unless I am in the room. Read more

This little heater is awesome. It puts out a lot of heat & warms small room in a hurry. Remote is easy to use & we like the temperature by degrees feature best because we can lower it to about 60 if we’re going to be gone that way the room is not ice cold when we return but yet it’s not running constantly. Where we live it does not get horribly cold as it does up north. I have not noticed any smell, it oscillates great if you like that feature. I think that it is worth the money although I agree it’s a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Read more

I have had many portable heaters in the past but this one is the best! I love, love, love that it rotates, but the best part is it also has a base that stays cool, which means I can put it on my table without damaging the table. Being up higher on the table means the heat blows out on my body, not just my feet. I've had the small ones that only heat my feet and not the rest of me, but they get too hot on the bottom to put on a table. I've had the tall tower ones that work ok, but they're so big and I don't like the way the room looks with a big, tall unattractive heater in it. It also has so many features that I haven't even used yet (timers, etc.), and a handy remote control. I bought it in winter so I've only used the heater, BUT IT ALSO HAS A REGULAR FAN SETTING, so it will also be great in the summer. Read more
