Lasko Oscillating Tower Fan with Remote Control - Tower Fan for Bedroom Office 4 Quiet Speeds 38 White

My bedroom gets ridiculously hot during the summer and I have spent so many months finding the perfect fan to keep me cool at night. I’ve tried two other tower fans, and they were just whispers of air that didn’t provide any real breeze to keep me cool. I purchased a lasko pedestal fan before this and was thoroughly disappointed by its airflow. So weak! Albeit it was noiseless and great for night time. So on came this fan! First of all, I just wanna say I had a previous version of this model before that I gave away to my brother (what a mistake, I loved it even then). Since that older model it has been given a new paint job, modernized design, and 1 extra speed level. I must say this newer version is a lot more stylish and the white color fits my room very well. The airflow on this thing is massive and much stronger than the previous pedestal fan of the same maker that I bought before. The blower squirrel cage at the bottom sucks up the cooler air that resides on the floor and disperses it throughout the room in great volume. Out of all the fans I’ve purchased this one actually BLOWS. The only things I would change are giving it a wider oscillation and the fact that it is pretty loud. We always sleep with a fan on. There are lots of times when my husband has to go to sleep before the rest of us due to early shifts at work. This has been fantastic for helping him sleep! It creates the right amount of white noise & helps us not to disturb him with household noises if we are still up and awake. This fan is also very good at air flow! Our old fan is worthless, you can't feel a breeze even standing next to it, this tower fan has a lot more air flow.....even on the lowest setting! Remote works great, timer feature and oscillating are handy. As far as people asking about having it in a living room...I would not want this next to my television, it does create noise, but if you need airflow, this will make you happy! Read more

Anybody looking for a good fan. You can't go wrong with Lasko. These tower blower fans are unbelievable and last forever. I just bought this one. I moved my other one into the bedroom. It's been running for at least 3 years maybe four. It's showing no signs of giving up but put it in the other bedroom cuz it won't be used as much as it is now. This one cost the same price as the other one. I got this one off the Amazon I got the other one at Sam's.$70 after tax including delivery and shipping. Got it in less the 24 hours. This one has four speeds. I'm not joking there's the second speed on this one is higher than any oscillating fan on high. You turn this thing on high it'll blow your eyebrows off. Found very cold as well. This one is really quiet. Has up to 8 hours sleep timer. Four speeds. Oscillating comes with the remote. Just thought I'd share that with everyone. Read more

Let me start off by saying this fan is AWESOME!! Here’s why: I have a bedroom that gets very little airflow from our AC vents so while the rest of the house is cool—even downright cold on other floors, my bedroom is stifling. Miserable! I can NOT sleep when I’m hot (I like to sleep in 70 degrees, which is the temp of the rest of our air conditioned home at night, yet my bedroom clocks in between 80-84 at bedtime. This Godforsaken room just won’t cool. I think I’d probably want to sell this house if it weren't for the Lasko Hybrid fan! I already own a Lasko Hybrid fan very similar to this that I bought a couple years ago and it’s been fantastic! So powerful and cool. So when I wanted to add another one to cool the other side of my bed on these hot summer nights, I discovered they no longer make that particular model (though I honestly can’t imagine why they’d cancel such a great product). After some serious research, this seemed to be the most similar/comparable fan I could find and I was almost scared away by the lack of reviews available and the less than perfect number of stars it scored. I’m o glad I didn’t let that scare me away!! I trusted it would be like my old Lasko Hybrid fan and it doesn’t disappoint!! Now, I don’t love the cheap looking black and white 80’s esthetic but the strong cooling power is ALL there and that’s what I’m desperate for! As I mentioned, I use them in my bedroom and I like that the fan’s height clears my very tall bed. This fan is admittedly a little on the louder side (which is why some have given it a lower star rating, but I’ve never seen a TRULY powerful fan that’s not noisier. I question if it’s even possible to get that strong wind power without ummmm... the wind?? Which makes noise as it blows? In my case, it’s a trade I’m more than willling to make. I only use them at bedtime and I don’t mind the white noise at all. In fact, I think it probably helps as the continuous, ambient noise drowns out any disturbances. If you’re looking for a fan that blows powerful, cool air, this fan won’t disappoint!! The fact that you can get this power from a tower fan is impressive to me. This fan is awesome! I feel like when it’s on the Highest “4” setting, I actually feel COLD air coming out, like literally “air conditioned” air and it has made a huge difference in my kitchen. It’s always the hottest room in the house because for some reason there is only 1 vent in there. However I will say I’ve tried the lower settings “1,2, and 3” and the air doesn’t feel cool, it feels room temperature and doesn’t cool my kitchen at all for some reason. So I always have it set for the highest setting, which is “4”. It’s is a bit loud but if I had to choose noise over my kitchen being hot, I’d choose noise 100 times over. Read more
