Lasko High Velocity Oscillating Tower Fan for Bedroom Garage Basement and Gym with Remote Control Timer 3 Powerful

I did a surprising amount of research before selecting this tower fan, and so far I have not been disappointed. This fan DOES have a high velocity, and it moves a nice amount of air in the room, keeping up a lively breeze. I prefer this tower style, which has a good height, to fans that sit on the floor and have to be angled upward to circulate the hotter air. When set to rotate, the fan sweeps in a wide arc, refreshing the air in the room. This is not a gratingly loud fan, but it IS high velocity, so there is audible “fan noise” if it is on during a Zoom or phone call. Quieter on settings 1 & 2 though. I have not owned the fan long enough to need to disassemble it to clean the blades or filter, but that does not appear to be a user-friendly process, although I will do it anyway when the time comes. This tower fan has a solid, stable base that seems quite unlikely to tip over, as some “tripod” or box fans may. It comes with a remote, which is nice, but I am usually in proximity to the fan when it is on. I like that it can be programmed to run at one, two and four hour intervals. You'll likely need to turn up the TV volume, but the cooling power is worth it. It even has a handy storage spot on the back of the fan. Widespread Oscillation: Provides excellent coverage for the whole room. Timer: The 7-hour auto-off timer is perfect for setting it before bed or before leaving the house, saving energy. Slim Design: The 35" tall, slim footprint makes it easy to tuck into a corner where a big pedestal fan wouldn't fit. If you want to cool your room down fast, this is the unit for you. High air volume, Lasko as usual is high quality, no assembly required just plug and use with remote control, a little bigger than I thought, but well worth it for the huge air flow in the summer. Best fan ever the speed on the fan is incredible its loud but its fast. the only con is the led light is super bright at night but I just covered it with some duct tape and its all good ive had this fan for over 10 years before I bought a new one and the old one still works it just doesn't ocelate anymore best fan to last for years!!!!! I don't normaly write lengthy reviews but, I love this fan I heat most of my home using my wood stove and was tired of looking at my noisy box fan and needed something quieter and more effective to distribute the heat from my living room. This fan arrived quickly and undamaged... The quality of the build and plastic materials is noticeably very good. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it is with the amount of air it pushes. On its medium setting it's as noisy as my box fan on high and pushes more air on its low setting than the box fan on high. I just keep it on low and it does a better job and looks nicer. I don't even notice it when watching TV. It'll be perfect for the summer when I need to push cool air from my large window AC too. If I had a con it would be the remote does not have a display to indicate what the fan's panel setting is but, its range is good at about 30 feet. I highly recommend this because it works well and is a good value for the price. I'm happy with my purchase. Brings the wind. Super powerful. This fan is NOT quiet. Lowest setting (out of 3) is most floor fans highest. Great for circulating air throughout small-moderate spaces. Solid oscillation range. Will eventually be a great work-shop or garage fan. Read more
