The liner marker is incredible and perfect. Have used it before and no complaints so I knew I would love it. The gel eyeliner and brush i was skeptical about because of reviews BUT idk what people mean when they don't like it. The gel formula is awesome. Goes on easily, gliding, and once it dries down is impossible to smudge. Also a little goes a long way. To test it, I did a single dip and drew a line all the way up my arm and had a black line up my arm for 2 days. Needed an oil-based makeup remover to get it off. The brush applicator is also the best eyeliner brush I've ever used that isn't teeny tiny. The bristles are super soft and the curved edge makes drawing along my eyes easy. Works really well as an eyeliner and could probably even be worn on your brows. Product goes on smoothly. Love the brush with makes it easier to draw a line. I'm kind of surprised this eyeliner has received such good reviews so far because on me, it winds up flaking off just hours later. Some flakes wound up on my eyeball at some point and irritated my eye a bit. Plus, the flakes just look very unsightly when they wind up randomly scattered around my eye. My mistake was not shaking the eyeliner up before applying it. That caused the liner to go on with clumps of the black not mixed in with whatever the clear liquid is. It wouldn't draw on right. It was basically clear oil with black splotchiness, and it also started flaking off not even an hour later. Then I finally realized to shake the liner up before applying and while it went on better, it still started flaking off but hours later, giving me those random little black flecks sitting on the skin around my eyes. Gross. This stuff is a hot mess for me. It is indeed waterproof though so I'll give it that. VERY waterproof. The eyebrow gel is better, in my opinion, but not by much. I like how I can fill in my brows without having to create fake little hair strokes but unfortunately, the brow gel starts looking blotchy as it wears down after a few hours. Not a good look. It looks good when first applied but then does that blotchy thing as it begins to fade. So, unfortunately, this Lavone eyeliner set is not for me. I need something that will stay nice for at least 8 hours after I apply it. I also don't want to get eyeliner flakes in my eyes again. Read more
