There were reports of prowlers in our area attempting to break through people’s back doors during the night. In our neighborhood it’s pitch black when there’s no moon out, so I wanted to put up an automatic light. The LE outdoor solar light seemed like just what I needed so I ordered one for our back door and another for the side door. I’m no fan of ladder work but managed to drill the two required holes for each light in our stucco walls. It was easy enough and the lights came with the needed screws and mounting hardware. Operation could hardly be any simpler, with a switch for on, off, or automatic. After mounting them, I left them to sit in the sun for the afternoon and checked them out that night. They were all charged up and very responsive to any motion once it was dark out. I’d walk anywhere near them, and they would turn on and stay on as long as I was moving around. Once I went inside, they would turn off after ten seconds or so, and immediately turn back on if I went back out. I was surprised at how bright they were, doing a good job of lighting up a large section of our back yard as shown in the photo. - - - - One year later -- and both units are dead, which leaves me quite disappointed. The user's pamphlet says that if the unit stops working, it cannot be repaired and you should simply by a new one. Replace the whole unit once a year, probably because the batteries gave out?? So easy to install and they pick up movement quickly. I have one in a tree that I wasn’t sure would pick up enough sun but I was wrong , charges like a charm ! They are pretty bright but the only downfall is they go off after 20 seconds. I wish they stayed on a little longer so when I’m throwing out the trash at the end of my dark driveway they don’t turn off on me. I have to wan back and click them back on. I’ve been having these for 4 months now and I can safely say that they’re really good. They bright really well, cool thing is that the 3 exterior lights (not the center one) can move around which is nice if you want them to light more of an area. I like how they’re really good against weather. It rains here a lot in Northern California and recently even more, they’ve gone against rain, wind and sun, and they still light up and work very good. The motion detection is very good. It can brighten up from afar which is good for when walking outside or when I’m entering my driveway. The battery life is extremely well, we recently had some fog for a long time and they had plenty of charge during those days. I definitely recommend anyone this product It works really well. I just bought these and put these up a month ago or so ago and one of them is flashing and apparently malfunctioning. They worked great for a few weeks. Would not purchase again. Junk Read more

Good while it lasted. Kept in a sunny place so as to be recharged fully. Rarely activated, but bright motion sensitive light perfect for my needs. It lasted just about a year before it quit working. I really like its adjustability and ease of installation though. Now it needs a replacement though. Read more
