I bought the ‘red brown’ on a crazy Amazon sale ($69). I cannot understate the qualify of this handcrafted buffalo leather bag. The quality is top notch-from stitching to hardware to the inside lining. There is care of craftsmanship throughout. Oddly, I have seen some reviews of the smell? The smell is amazing! My entire office (where my bag rests when I am not traveling) smells like a leather factory. I travel (plane) for work often and this carries all my essentials and is perfect for on a plane. Fits under the seat easily and the design is one that makes getting to needed items easy and quick. Without sounding extreme, this bag is comparable to the $400+ ones I see popping up on Facebook. This leather product is everything I expected it to be. It appears to be well made and is going to be big enough for everything I want to carry in it. I personally don’t think it smells bad. It reminds me of my uncle s boot shop when I was a kid just smells like good leather and isn’t that bad at all. What surprised me was it came in a nice bag that you can find an another use for. I have been using this case for a couple months and love it. It is well made, sturdy, and an excellent value. The product is real fairly think leather. Comments about leather smell are obviously from those accustom to vinyl; the leather smell is no different than any other leather product and disapates in time. There are multiple pockets, including pockets within each section, but I was still challenged to find space for everything, but the case is also narrower than my previous, which is convenient too. Shoulder stap is substantial, zippers are heavy duty which cause them to stick a bit at corners, but I prefer the durability. This product rivals or betters the quality and price I recently saw in Italy, which is known for it's inexpensive high quality leather. Read more

I think I like this bag. It came packaged well in a huge box which definitely protected it in shipping. I have to say it does have a super strong odor out of the box and after a few days it is still there. Now it is not the worst smell ever, but it is strong and so I had to knock a star off for it. Hopefully it will dissipate sooner rather than later .I have to say It is not the roomiest bag, the middle pocket is not huge and if you put much into the outside pockets it will encroach on the space in the center. If you carry a small amount of things like i do, then it should be enough. I can fit my iPad Pro 11 inch and the case to my headphones in the main pocket but that’s about it. Having said that I do like a minimally sized bag as anything too big feels like lugging around luggage and I am not a fan of that. The leather is nice, I like the reddish brown color. The structure of the bag is stiff and not floppy as some bags are constructed. The Zippers are functional and I should add that all the brass parts were covered for shipping so it took a little work to free them but it kept them safe and secure for shipping. The shoulder strap is also well constructed and I think will hold up well over time. This bag is a little bit pricier than some others but seems to be worth it for the high quality of the bag…if only it didn’t have such a strong odor…I will have to give it some time to see if it does go away or not. If not I am not sure if I will keep it or not. I will update this review after a few weeks and let everyone know. (I can’t really believe the reviewer who said they really liked the smell and how it filled their office like a leather factory. I don’t agree…). Update October21,2025. I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since I purchased this bag. The smell did go away, so that’s good. It still is on the small side but it’s better than other bags I have tried that were simply too bulky for me. I can fit all I need for my day to day and that’s the main thing. It is a little soft now and I wish the bottom was a little stiffer so it would sit up right on its own but that’s a minor quibble. Looking for something better but it’ll still work until I do. One thing is the zippers, while they still work they do feel a little sticky at times and I worry they may get stuck at some point but so far they have not. An anniversary gift for my husband. He was carrying around a paper folder for awhile so, he's very happy with this upgrade. It is rustic and manly looking. I personally think it weighs too much. The leather is thick so it makes it heavy. But, maybe this is a good thing as it seems like it would be durable. I like the slim design and all the pockets and different slots. Having the cross body and briefcase handles are really a plus. Overall, this was a good buy! Read more
