Upon opening the package, I was immediately hit with the incredible leather smell. First impression of the outside was fantastic. Now, you definitely can get the sense that it was designed in a way to mask the shortcuts they took of thin leather, low quality hardware, etc, BUT I'll be the first to admit they did an amazing job of designing it well to do exactly that. It's really convincing until you start looking closely. My only real gripe on the outside is the placement of the clasps. They're each positioned on a pocket, and unless you have those pockets full, then the pocket will just give/collapse when you try to push the button to release the clasp, making it very annoying to undo those. Mostly very impressed so far ...and then I opened it and saw the inside. My thinking immediately went from "wow, pretty professional looking - could absolutely use this in an upscale office setting" to "nevermind - this is just a manly diaper bag." I kid you not - if you've ever seen those padded, almost plastic-y linings in diaper bags, that's exactly what this is like. The pattern of the lining especially gives those vibes. Seriously disappointing that they came so close and then (in my opinion) ruined it with that inside lining. Read more

This is a wonderful travel bag and briefcase. I have used it several times for the occasional in-person meeting and love it. It is made of strong, smooth leather with solid seams and a striped fabric liner that makes finding things in the bottom of it so much easier than if it were a dark color. The outside pockets have old-fashioned metal clips that work well and won't eventually chip or break like the plastic clips we see on everything these days. The strap is adjustable and comfortable too. I can store my laptop and all its cords, a tablet, phone, writing materials, my Scribe, and even snacks. It looks like a professional bag too and wipes clean. I will pass this thing down to my grandchildren. Well worth the price due to its quality and useability. Highly recommended! Read more
