A bit cumbersome to install but they make up for it with light output. I’m one who has rarely thought an area has too much light at night and these impressed me. Actually only installed one and waited a few months to install the other as a single light was so much brighter than the carport lights that it replaced. Read more

I'd read the installation instructions and comments from others on their difficulty installing these lights. However, there are two ways you can install them. I took the easy way: drilled a hole in the corrugated steel ceiling, mounted an electric box with a 90-degree connected pipe and dropped a 3/4" pipe through the hole. The 90-degree connector let's the wire from the light go straight up so you can spin the light onto the pipe without tangling the wires. Then, I went back into the attic and hooked it up. With the one-inch corrugated steel, there is really no other way to install any lights easily. But, this was a snap! 30-minutes and I had it wired up. Read more
