Works great as a piano light. The stand raises it well above the music and the gooseneck allows it to bend in front. Lights up the music and entire keyboard. When I sue a laptop or iPad on display, can lower lighting to eliminate glare. Very well constructed, easy to put together. Very easy to assemble, looks great and seems to be well made. The base is very heavy. Having so many choices for the type of light and level of brightness along with being able to move the 2 top pieces to many positions, make this lamp very versatile. I really appreciate the double lights, the color options, the brightness options, and the magnetic remote for attaching it to the frame. It was easy to put together. It works well for my needs. This light is great, I wish I had purchased a few more when it was on sale.
