This light is fantastic. I was going to installation new light in my garage since I only have a single ceramic light socket and the garage door light. This lightbulb was so much easier and cheaper and now I have adequate light for the door and furniture refinishing I do in my garage. 4/21/2020 - Update: I was going to update my basement workshop & didn't need to when I replaced the two regular bulbs with these. These are nice and bright. Our home builder wanted close to a thousand dollars to add one fluorescent light fixture to our garage when we built our home. Enter this product. We plugged it into our light socket in the garage and viola—-more than enough lighting. We have high garage ceilings (probably 15’ ceilings) and this fixture casts enough light for general garage use. Read more

A very nice product & so much brighter than my previous CFL bulbs. It's very flexible with several options to aim the panels, which makes it perfect for my garage. There is one caveat however and that is fit. I tried to screw one of these into a ceiling fan light fixture or two & it just wouldn't tighten enough to be secure. Not sure if it's the light or the fixture but any other bulb fits my 2 fans just fine. That being said, I'm very happy with the product. Read more

UPDATE: The bulb didn’t work for the intended fixture/location. But I put it into an old lamp without a shade,and it gives off bright/soft light for a dim corner of my craft room - does well in new location! ORIGINAL: The design of this bulb does not fit in the fixture in my garage. A previous style fit just fine. This probably only works with a porcelain bulb holder with nothing else around it. I got 3 of these to light up some dark areas and they certainly did that. They are very bright and can light up a whole garage or shop area. I put one on my ceiling fan in the living room and that is the only light I need in there. Easy as a light bulb to install as it just screws into any standard size lightbulb socket. Don't look at the light for longer than just a few seconds as it will leave a light spot in your eye for about 5 minutes, kind of like from a flash bulb. Read more

When I first opened the box I was a little disappointed with the small size of this light. I installed it and my disappointment quickly went away. When I switched it on it was like the sun came out. I needed more light in my craft room where I do embroidery and other crafts and this product did the trick. Lots of light and it looks great too. Installed 3 of these in the rear socket of my garage door opener motors and they really light up the garages when you come/go. I especially like the bright(6000k-daylight) light at night to light up all corners of a dark garage when coming home(wife does too). They do not seem effected by the vibration of the chain drive and have held up for several months now. Would put one in the front socket too but they won't clear the drive chain. Read more
