Holy moly these lights are bright! I can't say how long they will end up lasting but I seem to go through light bulbs a lot faster than what they are supposed to, like maybe a year or two. If I still have to replace as often they definitely will still be a winner because the cost of them is so affordable. The have the apparence of clear light not cold or warm. I absolutely love these! I certainly did not need 6 100w light bulbs, but the price was right and, well, you never know! I specifically needed the bulbs to be dimmable for the two lamps that they were going to be used in. I was very impressed with the packaging! As you can see from the pictures this manufacturer went a little extra to ensure that the bulbs are protected. So far, the bulbs have not disappointed; they do dim without any flickering or high pitched squeal that sometimes you will find when dimmed very low. The description lists these as "warm light" but to me they seem like a soft white which is exactly what I wanted. (Hopefully this will help anyone who is also looking for "soft white") Hopefully these will last a very long time, but if I encounter any issues with any of them prematurely blowing out, I will update my review. i received the bulbs all put together nicely, and on line it states dimmable but pamplet states different. havent tried yet but i beleive they will work out very well. Read more
These were not the switchable dim light bulb. I’m sure they would work with a dimmer switch, but they are not the new lightbulbs where you can manually switch it on the lightbulb. Read more
Great lights - I've gone through a ton of different LED bulbs over the years, trying to find that perfect one. I've settled in on the GE Relax series, but am still always on the lookout for something new! These bulbs are OK in terms of performance, but I would give them a big thumbs up on value. The dome top of the bulb is kind of "mushy" so it makes me question the quality of some of the other components. The brightness isn't quite there with other 9.5w bulbs I've tried, but they're plenty bright. They also only have a "top" dome that the light can come through, so if you put them in an overhead light with the bulbs facing up, it doesn't bring as much light downwards. The color is far from my preference, although there is a place for everything. For around the house we use 2700K, but in our dining room, which is a bright white/navy blue, these are a nice compliment to bring both colors out. 5000K might have been a bit much, but something cooler than 2700k is probably going to best. Beyond that, I'll let you know in 5 years is they're still working, overall they seem like decent bulbs. Read more
