Iβve tried both the knockoff versions and the genuine Levoit Everest filter replacement, and thereβs a clear difference between the two. While the knockoffs might get the job done on a basic level, the genuine Levoit filter delivers noticeably better performance, especially when it comes to airflow and air quality. Pros: Impressive Filtering: The Levoit Everest filter seems to trap more dust, allergens, and particles. After replacing the filter, my air purifier feels more effective at cleaning the air, and Iβve noticed fewer irritations, like dry eyes or sneezing. Noticeable Improvement in Air Quality: Thereβs a definite difference in the air quality after switching to this filter. Itβs cleaner, fresher, and the overall environment feels healthier. This is especially important for anyone with allergies or respiratory issues. Cons: Price: The main downside of the genuine Levoit filter is its cost. Itβs significantly more expensive than the off-brand alternatives. While itβs an investment, I believe the improved performance justifies the price. Overall, I highly recommend the Levoit Everest filter replacement if youβre serious about air quality and want the best performance from your air purifier. The difference in airflow and air quality is definitely worth the extra cost. Read more
Their great. Just way to expensive Read more
Works exactly as described. Iβve tried both OEM filters as well as third party filters and Iβve always had a better experience with OEM filters. For some reason, I find that third party filters usually have a strange smell to them. Filters last about 6 months if you have the air purifier running on auto 24/7. My guess is you could squeeze out much more life out of these if you only run the purifier when needed. If youβre able to get a solid year out of the filter then I would say the price is worth it. Donβt waste your money. States will last 12-15 months. Mine lasted 5 months and if you contact customer service they will come up with every excuse under the sun. Iβll share what I was told. Keep in mind most people would use an air filter for all of these reasons but donβt expect a company to actually say we estimate 12-15 months when mine lasted 5 months. Pet Dander: Pets shed microscopic skin flakes (dander), which become airborne and can clog filters more quickly. Hair and Fur: Pet hair can trap and carry dust, pollen, and other allergens, contributing to faster filter buildup. Odors: Pet-related odors from fur, litter boxes, or occasional accidents can require the filter, especially any activated carbon layer, to work harder to neutralize smells. Dust and Dirt: Pets can track in dirt, dust, and pollen from outside on their fur and paws, increasing the amount of particulate matter in the air. Fine Particles: Certain pets, like birds, can release fine particles from feathers or droppings that may irritate the respiratory system and add to filter load. Because of these factors, filters may need to be replaced more frequently than in homes without pets. I hope this helps! Regards, Nicole Read more
