Oddly, the mattress cover part negates a portion of the memory foam below it. Although it’s washer and dryer proof the king is too large and needs to go to the laundry mat or professionally cleaned. I will add a mattress cover over the mattress cover to better protect. Read more

Excellent design and quality! The two layer design adds practicality for memory foam protection, durability, removal for cleaning etc. but more important, provides great support for sleeping positions. The firmness of the memory foam is about right, slightly on the firmer side. And with the additional goose down layer/cover, it feels so much more smooth and increases the support and comfort. We have slept on it for a couple of nights and is an excellent replacement (better alternative) of our existing thicker, softer memory foam we purchased from Costco and have been using for a couple of years. We ordered the queen size and it's an exact fit. It isn't too thick and very easy to put on. Thanks to the straps on all four corners, which are non-slip and adjustable, it's nicely secured in place and doesn't move at all. Overall, excellent product and I'm more than satisfied! Only complaint from my wife is that if it could be just a little bit softer, that would be even better. But part of it could be due to the fact that we have been sleeping on a softer topper for a while and it may take some time for your body to adjust to the new. For me though, it's perfect! Read more

I ordered this to replace a really thick egg crate style topper and can say that it is extremely comfortable!! It is like laying on a cloud and you do not feel any pressure points. I did not notice very much odor upon opening and letting air out. I did put the goose down top into my dryer on a steam cycle to fluff and refresh and it did a great job! The one issue I have is that when you zip the memory foam into the topper it is LARGER than the actual goose down zipper cover as evidenced by the photos. The other problem is the straps to hold it down could be about 2 inches longer. We don’t have a super thick mattress and fully extended they still squish the heck out of it.
