Amazing picture quality

EzioMay 19, 2022

This is a great TV. I do understand a bit of the specs, so not a complete novice who only likes it because its 75". I wanted a TV for the main living room which has constant daylight from the patio, and at night, lots of lights around the house - chandeliers etc. So an OLED wouldn't make sense. The picture quality is very good. I have watched mostly native 4K and some full HD stuff. (Upscaling from 720p or less should not be a reason to criticize this product). Things look good, colors are bright and sharp. This is 60Hz, but the action videos I watched look about the same as it does on my other high end Sony 4k 120Hz. I haven't tried video gaming on this, but I don't plan to game on this TV anyway. Read more

Remote haters have me puzzled

jspirateMarch 11, 2023

I am very happy with the picture quality and features of this TV. The sound is as good as I've had and I not sure I will bother getting a sound bar. I am puzzled by all the remote hate. Its different, but it didn't take me long to get use to it. The only negative I feel worth mentioning is that I wish the speed to navigating apps was better. I almost gave it 4 stars for that, but my other TVs aren't any quicker. So, I left it at 5. Read more

Purchased three of these

LivApril 1, 2023

We purchased three of these models (65”, 48”&48”). Used same Mounting Dream Advanced Tilt mounting bracket (purchased on Amazon) for all three. Spent a lot of time researching tvs looking specifically for tvs tgat have the capability to use two bluetooth headsets at once. Very little info on web regarding this option. There was a youtube video with an Australian gentleman narrating on this specific model and explaining how to hook up two headsets at once. So as far as the headsets working, its hard to say. They definitely connect easy like the youtube video but at some point the audio starts cutting out. Not sure if its the headsets that we have or what. At some point we will buy new updated headsets to see if it works better. Works fine with one headset though. Time will tell. Hopefully it works out since this is the main reason why we purchased three of these. Read more

Great TV, Absolutely Abysmal Setup Instructions,

TKJanuary 30, 2023

Really gobsmacked with the the color and purity of the video. The remote is another issue. I already threw the 'wand' style remote away. It is trash. My LG remote from my 43LQ6300 works great, so am using it. (I do not use Alexa so no loss there, nor am I interested in using voice to control the TV.) The owner's manual is a joke. no explanations on setup at all. It tells you (And I am not kidding) how to turn the TV on! DUH!! There are no explanations on what the different setting are, like Filmmaker or Game Optimizer. Oh, and the instructions on how to use the Magic Wand remote aren't even for the remote that came with the set! There are a number of picture options...no explanation on them at all. Overall, the instructions that came with the TV don't even rate an F, just an Incomplete, which is lower than an F. Read more

The delivery persons were great! Amanda and Trey arrived on time. Unpacked the TVs and did an awesome job. Courteous, kind and patient with me. Made sure the TVs came on. I setup the TVs myself. So I don’t understand what people went through with delivery. It wasn’t my experience. Thus far the TVs are great. I received an LG75 inch and an LG65 inch TV. Both at this point are doing great. I’ll come back and give you an update later on this month. Thank you Amazon for a clean purchase of such products as TVs! My TVs are still working just great! Crisp clean color and visually pleasing to the eye! Great purchase! Read more

Awful - ZERO stars

MichaelJanuary 11, 2025

How can a TV be so awful. Every single day. It’s a total POS. I just bought an TCL that is 1000x better for almost half the price. This LG is so slow. Soo slow. Right now, every other TV in my house (none are LGs) is streaming YouTubeTV. This LG won’t even load the app. This has been the case too many times over the year or so that we’ve owned it. My wife won’t even use the TV. It is our largest TV for the main room. Been trying to make it work for 30min now. WTF!!! Nothing will load. Absolute POS. Buy TCL. Buy anything but LG. OH AND the glare in the worst I’ve ever ever ever seen. Don’t bother watching during the day. How has this company survived providing such a POS. Will be ordering a replacement this week. So much for watching the game tonight. Read more

The new LG webOS runs very poorly

TonyDecember 2, 2022

TV picture quality is top notch for this price point. However I cant give it 5 stars due to the fact that the newly updated 2022 webOS absolutely sucks. It’s so slow, like ‘I click Netflix and it takes 10 seconds to open the app’ slow… I have a G1 that runs the same webOS buttery smooth, but with this TV I’m contemplating buying an Apple TV device or something and using that as the main UI because I can’t stand the sluggish performance of the built in LG webOS. Good TV with a lot of software issues

TheSunNovember 15, 2022

I got the LG Nanocell 55' TV last week and have been playing around it over the last couple of days. First lets get to the PROs - Great Picture quality. Although there is some blooming visible in 4K+ videos during motion. It does not bother me much since its a seldom scenario - Great Sound quality. I dont think I will ever need an external speaker. The max volume I have gone upto till now is 50. - Viewing angles are also very good for our small sized room. Cons - The biggest disappointment is the software. There are so many issues. The biggest pain point is the "LG Channels" app randomly starts playing the last channel. Even when I press the "Home" button. Its very very annoying. - Casting from mobile phone does not work always. Sometimes it works on the 1st time sometimes it takes 5 attempts. Even when it works, I have never been able to get horizontal alignment. So this is bad. - The browser is unable to play most Videos and I feel its something to do with the memory management - The default voice assistant is very poor. - Setting up Google assistant is also very cumbersome. There were a couple of updates that I did, but unless the above issues are fixed, I dont think I will be keeping this. Thinking of returning this and going with Samsung AU8000. What do you guys think? Read more
