I absolutely love this set! But there's some flaws
It was high time to toss the good ol block of 12 years she's done her duty and now time for an upgrade! I found this and well im all about my black so I had to get it! I loved that it was all black from the handle to the tip of the knife to the block itself so of course I had to have it! The block is very nice and has grips on the bottom so it's not sliding all over your counter! It has groves that sleek down into the actual block so no knife is slipping out easily! I also liked that it looked as if you could take the bottom of the block off for cleaning on the inside which is a huge win for me because dust does build up in these things and mine was wooden and very hard to clean the inside! The knives are sleek and very nice! Super light weight and easy to maneuver I also really loved that each knife is individually labeled so next time someone asks me for a pairing knife I know which is which! I did find some spots of what look to be rust on some spots like the coating didn't coat where it should have and unfortunately it happens with stuff like this but not a huge deal for me! There were also some scratches and chipping in the black coating over the knife Part as well which I hope doesn't cause more over washing. Over all besides the small detailistic issues I'm completely satisfied with my purchase and love everything about this! Especially how much less room it takes up on my counter! Read more
