This balm has been great for my French bulldog’s dry nose. It is thick enough to stay in place, but not greasy to the point where I worry about it getting on my clothes. The stick format makes it simple to apply and much less messy than other balms we have tried. The formula goes on like a chapstick. It is smooth, easy to spread, and absorbs within about an hour. The quality feels much higher than the last nose balm we used, which irritated her skin. This one has no smell and my dog, Dolly, actually likes it. We have a nightly routine and she never fought this one the way she did with our previous product. After a week of use I am already seeing a positive improvement in her cracked nose. Within a few days of using the PawSono balm, I noticed a huge difference — his paws went from feeling like sandpaper to baby soft. Even his little nose, which used to look cracked, is now smooth and shiny again. I love that it’s lick-safe, so I don’t have to panic when he tries to “help” me apply it. This paw and nose balm has been wonderful for my doodle. It keeps her paws smooth and moisturized, especially during dry weather, and she doesn’t mind it at all. Our 9 yr old Lab had a crusty flaky nose on top. So after some research, it became apparent that a nose balm was needed (Much like we need lip balm) for the dry winter air. This arrived quickly and seems to help his little nose to mend and lose it's crusty appearance. It seems to have natural ingredients and has little to no odor. Now, please seek a vet's input if your pup has any other symptoms, as a dry nose can be the linked to other health issues. For our boy, this works well and he doesn't seem to want to lick it off. I have to sneak in the application when he's resting. I do it quickly, and try to rub it in a bit. I give him a treat after and he forgets it quickly. It's easy to use and apply. A bit pricey for the size, but I think this will last quite a while. I'll probably wrap it in a plastic bag when we don't use it to keep it from drying out. Read more

Great stuff! Easy application, no odor or smell to it, and seems to really help soften my pups' paw pads with every use. I am glad it is lick-safe too. I have seen warnings listed on other brand products, and as much as I try, it's virtually impossible to keep them from messing with their paws a little after application. So, non-toxic is extremely important to me. This is probably the best balm I've tried with them so far. Will purchase again! Read more

I’ve been rubbing this balm on my older dog’s nose hopping to help the cracking he is experiencing. I feel a little difference but the amount that is given is nowhere near worth the price. I will purchase another brand just as good for a better price Read more

I've never written a review for a product, but this one deserves the glowing review!! We take our dogs camping in the desert with us, and our little one got the worst chapped nose last year that took weeks and weeks to heal. This year I brought this along; both our dogs happily let me apply it their noses each morning because it has a great scent, and it actually 100% worked!!!
