This little unit was perfect to help me ride out the fall heat wave in my home office. I wanted something portable that I could easily tuck away when not needed. It rolls smoothly on casters to move between rooms. It keeps my space cool, without the hassle of a lot of fussy installation. It could be moved room to room easily without much effort. The 8000 btu capacity is perfect for a small space up to 350 sqft, which is more than adequate for my needs. The fan is quiet and I actually quite like it for background noise. I like having the remote to be able to adjust settings from my desk if I need to. The finish is clean and modern and the 8000btu unit is quite compact also. This portable AC works really well for small rooms. It cools the space quickly and keeps the temperature comfortable without being too loud. I like that it also has a fan and dehumidifier mode, which makes it useful year-round. The digital touch panel and remote control are easy to use, and the included window kit was simple to set up. It’s doing what it has to do but it IS LOUD…. It makes a loud vibrating sound and a loud thud when it (sounds like it) changes gears. Keeps scaring me and my dog at night! Read more

This has been a great addition to my office. The ladies get too cold while I'm back roasting, but if they aren't happy - no one is happy! This is quiet and keeps my area at a nice 66 degrees. The remote is a nice feature too so I don't have to keep getting up and down to change it. It comes packaged nicely and arrived quickly. Read more

Added this to my basement when it gets slightly damp and wanted to help mitigate the issue. So far so good. Not only that it cools but it also brings the humidity down and with this I don't have to worry about water drainage as the unit evaporates it. I like that is compact and fits well in a corner and it doesn't look out of place. It doesn't seem to use much electricity and that's a plus since I keep it running 24/7. Read more
