if you want a bit of a looser fit size up! im usually a small but in these I got a medium because I wanted them to be a tad bit oversized and im so glad that I did. its not super loose but the waist band also isn't tight. just the way I like it. they could be just a tad bit softer but they are heavy and great for the super cold nights lounging around your home. These are a new favorite for me. They are extremely comfortable but they also have a cute fit. Often flannel pants have too wide a leg for me but these are not like that - it's still loose but does not look bulky and wide. The pants aren't fluffy, fuzzy flannel, but they are well made of heavy material. The legs are a little long, but that's OK. They'll be perfect for lounging on the couch. Got these for my 5'1, 115 lbs teen daughter in a small. They fit great and are extremely comfortable. She loves them and has worn them a ton since receiving them.
