Cotton wick
Decent replacement for a Zippo lighter. The flint works well, sparks easily. The only thing I'm a bit average about is that the cotton wick is only cloth cotton. The original Zippo has some sort of copper metal winded into it for stability and also for you to pull out easier. I find that the structure of the flame isn't as nice as the original Zippo, but it's not too bad. Read more
Relighting
Gave another chance to a few zippos I had laying around collecting dust able to use them again. Containing all the parts now to bring them back to life with many times too. Having loads to replace for a long while well worth getting to keep them in good useful shape. Read more
Don't Waste Your Time (and $)
The wick doesn't have the usual copper mesh wrapping common to zippo wicks, the flints don't spark well, and the plastic gaskets were poorly machine cut and do not seal together. The gaskets also leak. The only useful thing in here is the brass followers. Next time I'll save myself the waste of time and money and buy zippo brand. Read more
Great Lighter Kit
This is a great kit for flint wheel ignition style lighters. The kit has everything needed (besides fluid) to get your lighter in working order. The flints are high quality and work amazing with my Zippo lighter. I really like the lighter gaskets that come in the kit, they are a perfect fit and allow for easy storage of a emergency flints. Great flint and wick kit
If you use flip lighters, trench lighters, or any of a variety of old flint and wick lighters, this is a great accessory kit to have on hand. The rubber gaskets are only suited to the standard flip lighters, and work pretty well. Everything else i have been able to use in a couple of different styles of lighter to get nice, reliable sparks and fresh new wicks. Any flint and wick lighter user or collector should have these materials on hand, and this kit gives you plenty! Read more
A great zippo refurbishment kit
Perfect kit to refurbish that old zippo lighter. It includes literally everything except the cotton wadding. The flints strike easily and cleanly. The wick seems to be good enough to last a while, and the replacement bottoms are especially nice as they simplify filling. I was impressed how I was able to take an old trashed zippo and bring it back to perfect functionality with this cheap little kit. If you're a zippo fan, you owe it to yourself to have a stash of flints, and honestly you'll appreciate the upgrades this set brings. Read more
