I finally understand why so many women complain that liquid minoxidil is a greasy mess. They were using this horrible formula. I've been using another brand for about 5 years, with no greasy ick. But to try and save some money, I got this brand. Yhe moment i opened the bottle i knew domething was wrong. Slippery, oily, messy to handle, leaves rings on the countertop. My hair looks like I've used brill cream. It's non-returnable, so I guess I have to just chuck it and consider this an expensive lesson in brand loyalty. Read more
I only gave 4 stars because I just started using a few days ago. But I am already liking this product. After it dry's it doesn't leave my hair feeling oily. I'll be back to let you know if my hair starts to come back. Read more
Minoxidil is something my husband uses daily, and I'm all for trying new brands so I thought I'd give this a shot. It comes in a dropper bottle rather than foam application, which he seems to prefer as it runs straight to the scalp. He said he didn't mind the texture it gave his hair, I think it actually made his hair look better. He used up the whole bottle a little faster than 1 month, but that's okay because we feel like it really works. Read more
The media could not be loaded. Not convinced it did much for me and I do have some itching which may or may not be from this as I've had an itchy scalp before taking this, it seems to have not done any good for my hair. It actually looks worse from my pictures but I also didn't do it twice a day sometimes as it said to do. I did much more than 1ml at a time the once a day i did it as well. I also missed a few days so who knows. If I did exactly as described maybe I would have had better results. I also did the bleach test (I have a video on here) which interacted with it proving it has actual real minoxidil in it and not just water. If it didn't react with the bleach then it would be fake and just water. I still would probably recommend it but itching could be a problem for some. This product seems to be the best price for a 6 month supply. I took pictures of them and weighed them to verify I'm getting the right amount. The 0.06 is an empty bottles weight in that picture. Since I don't have a lab to test the ingredients or efficacy, I check the package and bottle for ingredients, country of manufacture, traceability of the company, certifications, expiration date & lot number. This 2oz bottle of Minoxidil from Hair Regen appears to be the real deal. The bottle, cap, and eyedropper are the exact same as the name brand Minoxidil I normally use. It even smells the same (don't laugh, most other smell flowery or have no scent at all). It's hard to describe the scent - maybe a little soapy would be the best way. Anyway, even to the foil sealing cap on the bottle, this is the same the product I've been using for over 25 years. It comes with an extensive instruction/info/Q&A sheet, something none of the other brands I've tested had. Overall I have no complaints or concerns. Read more
