After a few months of using this product the aerosol seems to disappear and the foam starts coming out of the top when not being used. So when the aerosol is gone you can’t use it. So each can only lasts a couple weeks instead of a month. I’m on my 5th can in under 3 months. It may be a little cheaper, but I never experienced this with Kirkland or other brands. Read more
This is a large supply for the price. I prefer the foam application bottle for travel because it is less likely to leak. If it's easier to over use than a spray application, though. But this is really the most cost effective pack I've seen. The foam is really good for applying to eyebrows as well! You have to be consistent with use to see results, which takes around 6 months. I've been using different minoxidil products for around a year and my baby hairs are much thicker. I can't speak specifically to this one, but they are all minoxidil and I think besides remembering to apply, it's about the ability to apply easily. And that's why I like the foam. Read more
I've tried minoxidil in a few forms. Straight liquid allows you to measure how much you're using, but it just wants to run everywhere upon application. Spray loses the ability to measure, but it doesn't run ... right away. This foam is the easiest. Again, there's not much way to measure, but it will not run. That alone makes it worth it. I'm not sure about the effectiveness as it takes a long time. I'd look into documentation it Minoxidil for what to expect. But as far as I can tell by using it a few times, it seems to be of decent quality. A decent value. Read more
Amazon should not be selling this. It’s horribly greasy. Just pour cooking oil all over your hair. That’s really what this product is. And it never dries. I’ve bought many different products like this, but never one that can be used as vegetable oil. Even though it’s a foam, when you put it on your scalp it changes like putting Vaseline on your scalp. What a disappointment & of course waste of your money. Can’t believe it’s still being sold!! Read more
Leaves a very, very heavy greasy residue in the hair. Pretty sure the whole point for the creation of minox foam was to avoid that! This is basically like using minox liquid, though it is much easier to apply than the liquid. Hard pass. Read more
The product works. That’s really the important part to me. The foam doesn’t run like the liquid can. I was losing a significant amount of hair due to health issues and this, combined with treating my hair with gentle products and less heat, has turned around my hair loss. I waited to review to see if it was working or not and fact is that it is working. I have a ton of new hair growth that is finally starting to move to a more adult texture. My doctor did tell me at first it would be fine baby hair and it would stick out as it grew out longer but to just be patient. This combined with some increased protein and less stress is making a big difference. I did have to address underlying causes and use a total approach. This has been an effective piece of the puzzle. I have tried different delivery systems and this one can use more product just because it seems to come out faster, so use the measurement in the cap it gives you as a guideline. All medications of this product have an oiliness to them. That is just how minoxidil is. It’s not bad for your hair to have some extra oil, just be aware if you are going out for a special occasion and adjust accordingly. Overall, very good product. Read more

After having always used the serum minoxidil formulations, I wanted to give the foams a try. I was worried it would be thick like shaving cream, making it hard to get the product on the scalp versus all in the hairs. This product is a thinner, wetter foam. Some may not like it, but I love it. The foam allows for the product to be easily applied to an area without much mess. It quickly transforms to a liquid, easy to spread across the scalp. I also like the safety cap with its childproof lock. A great option for anybody (both men and women) looking for an alternative to minoxidil serums. I think this would go great with an applicator for better distribution. Read more
